The World's Fastest Foreign Exchange Payment

Hi I'm Joy and I work in the Payments team.  No one likes to wait to get their money. So that's whay at World First we've been working hard to improve our systems to move money across borders as fast as possible. So we are proud to announce that in June 2011 we transferred money from a client's UK accuont to their Deutsche Bank account in Germany in a grand total of 6 minutes and 49 seconds.

Unfortunately we can't call this an official Guinness Record as a foreign exchange transaction doesn't fall under Guinness regulations, due to the necessity of third party systems. However we're pretty sure no one else has completed the transaction in less time and certainly no one has claimed to have done anything remotely close to this!
