You can carry out currency exchange with us by phone or online. 

There are three main ways to transact – and we can tailor any of these to suit your exact needs and circumstances. 

Spot contract - The spot rate is the exchange rate on the day. If all you want to do is make a single payment or payments, a spot contract could be the way to go.

Forward contracts - If you want to fix the rate you’ll exchange at, a forward contract is one of the ways to do it. It lets you fix a rate now for exchange in the future – up to two years in advance.

Hedging your risk with currency options - If you want the security of a forward contract, but would also like to benefit if exchange rates move in your favour, then a currency option could be the right choice for you. We offer a number of different types, and can even create bespoke products that are tailored to your exact needs. 

Other ways we can help

In addition to the three main ways of transacting, we also offer the following services.

Take profit order - Set a best case rate. If currency rates move in your favour and your target rate is achieved, we’ll automatically strike while the iron is hot and buy or sell your currency.

Stop loss order- Agree the worst case rate you’re prepared to accept, and if the market moves against you, we’ll automatically buy or sell your currency at that rate so you’re protected from it getting worse.

One cancels other (OCO) - Is a combination of a take profit order and a stop loss order. If one is executed the other is automatically cancelled. This will help you achieve a favourable target rate whilst also protecting you against adverse market moves allowing you to set a worst case rate.

Our rate alert service is designed to give you the edge. Sign up, and we’ll be your eyes and ears on the currency markets. Tell us the rates you’re aiming for, and we’ll contact you the minute they hit. This service is for anyone who wants to transfer more than £5,000.
