Our financials, ratings and references

World First is in a very strong financial position and we are totally transparent about our financial statements. The company grew over 25% last year and is on track to grow over 50% this year. The company is wholly-owned and has no debts or liabilities.  You can download last year's accounts (audited by HaysMacintyre) here. World First has a £5million global insurance policy that protects us against crime and covers us for professional and public liability. The policy is underwritten by Chartis, one of the world's largest insurers.

We transacted over £1.859 billion in 2011.

Rating

We have a 2A1 Credit Rating from Dun and Bradstreet, the global ratings agency. This is the highest rating a company of our size can achieve. Our DUNS number is 73-765-1252. You can look this up on the Dun & Bradstreet website.

Management and Staff

World First has over 100 employees between our UK and Australian offices. Our directors are Jonathan Quin and Nick Robinson, who collectively have over 30 years' experience in the foreign exchange markets. Our Chairman is Sir David Clementi, former deputy governor of the Bank of England.  We have a strong management team of 15 and follow strict corporate governance guidelines.

Client References

World First has almost 26,000 registered private clients and over 7,000 registered corporate clients.  We’re always happy to provide references from existing clients. Please ask if you would like contact details of an existing client. We'll always try to provide a referee who lives near you or for corporate clients a company in a similar field of business.

Bank References

You are welcome to request a bank status reference on World First. You order this through your own bank for our account with Barclays Bank. If you would like to do this please let us know and we’ll send you our account details. 

Visit us

We welcome visitors to our offices in London (map). We’re just five minutes from Clapham Junction rail station, accessible from Waterloo and Victoria. Our offices are open 08:30 to 18:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 18:00 on Fridays.
