The Community

We feel a strong sense of responsibility to both our immediate community and the wider world.

Local Community

Wherever we can, we support the local economy, selecting nearby, independent trade and suppliers. Everyone who works here is encouraged to get out and support our community too. We have Out Of Office Voluntary Days where we do things like:

• gardening and DIY with BTCV
• environmental stuff with Thames 21 
• youth events with Action for Kids

We work with Wandsworth BEST (Business and Education Succeeding Together) part of an Educational Business Partnership (EBP) with Wandsworth Borough Council. It helps to give London’s young people valuable skills and experiences. We’re also involved in Backing Young Britain, a cross-governmental campaign bringing together the business, public and voluntary sectors to provide opportunities for young people and previsouly worked with Lewisham's EBP.

About a third of us donate time and expertise at career fairs, mock interviews and mentorship programmes. We also provide work experience opportunities for students on an IT Diploma Programme. 

Wider Community

Every year, all employees are encouraged to nominate a charity they feel passionately about. The charity then receives a donation from a central pot.  We’ve now got 105 employees, so lots of charities will benefit.

We have other charity initiatives too. Every time a client responds to a feedback email, £1 goes to our charity of the month. If they post their comments – negative or positive – on a consumer forum, we donate £50. Our charity of the month tends to be chosen according to topical global issues.

We also hold Charity Days a few times a year when the whole office dresses up to raise money for national charitable events like Sports Relief and Think Pink for breast cancer. Charity Days raise both funds and awareness.
